Global 6K for Water
May 22 | 5:00 pm
The average distance many women and children in the developing world walk for water is 6K (3.7mi). Join us on May 22 to walk/run the Global 6k for Water in support of accessible, clean water for our global neighbors. With a loop marked on paths and trails at the YMCA, adults and kids can run or walk the full distance or do a family relay.
Food truck with $5 meals and live music so invite your running/walking friends! There's a way for everyone to participate. Check out your options below!
REGISTER OPTION: Adults are $50, kids are $25. You'll get a t-shirt and bib with a child's story printed on it. Do this ASAP to receive your t-shirt and bib by the 22nd!
DONATION OPTION: You can also make a donation of any amount to the Watotos! team and join us to walk/run without the t-shirt or bib.
VOLUNTEER OPTION: If you would prefer to volunteer with the registration table and other logistics instead of walking, please email Denise and we'll get you a little job so you can enjoy the event too!

Directions to the YMCA
Best route from Tulsa is to take I-44 west across the river and take the Elwood Exit. Turn right off of the exit and follow the road under the highway and all the way around passed the Pepsi property. The road actually ends at the YMCA entrance. Follow the entrance road back to the parking lot at the back of the property. There is construction, but follow map apps and the YMCA signs once you exit the highway and you'll get there!
You can also take the 41st St. exit off Highway 75 and go east on 41st to Elwood. Take Elwood south to 51st and turn left, following the road under the highway and around to the entrance where the road ends!
